• Wow – what a team! Nigel and his crew have painted both the exterior and interior of our house. We first got them to do the exterior and were very impressed. We had a number of tradies onsite but Nigel and his team were by far the best. Excellent workmanship, extremely tidy and very professional. We have young children and there was no cursing or yelling – just considerate painters taking pride in their work, as well they should.

  We have just had them in to do the interior. Once again their professional attitude and exceptional work has blown us away.

• This Body Corporate represents six privately owned large apartments in the middle of “The Crescent”, Roseneath, Wellington.

  The building is on a large site with an oblong building covering six floors facing west over Wellington harbour, 170 metres above sea level. As a result it has exceptional views and is a highly visible building on the city landscape. As Wellington has its share of rough windy weather, it needs protection from constant coatings of sea spray, requiring the employment of two essentials, a professional paint manufacturers coatings specification and a reliable efficient applicator, operating at a just and reasonable cost.

  We have engaged a number of contractors for differing work over the years and have always done our homework to find the contractor who will provide a highly satisfactory result at a competitive price while keeping exactly to the specification provided. In terms of providing exterior cleaning and preparation for a three coat painting job we have found Nigel Hall Decorators Ltd to be compliant with our requirements. This is proven that over the past twenty one years this company has won twice the contract tendered by a number of contractors, with excellent reputations. The first contract lasted a long life of sixteen years prior to requiring further remedial work. The second contract looks like it was completed in the last year, was done five years ago and is still in good order.

• I recently needed to engage the services of someone to paint our kitchen as we were expecting visitors from overseas and wanted to show our beautiful 110 year old homestead in its best light. I had heard of Nigel through a friend who had work done by this amazing team, so contacted him and even though it was so close to Christmas Nigel and Jan organised the job to be done very quickly to our complete satisfaction. The colour he suggested, the attention to detail, the speediest but thorough job was a true testament to their professionalism. The workers were a very friendly, happy team and always tidied up after themselves.
